Meditations

Welcome to the meditation resource library. This library is built on the understanding that meditation is a trainable skill for the mind, with a growing body of scientific research supporting its benefits for stress reduction, emotional regulation, and cognitive focus.

Understanding Mindfulness and Meditation

At its core, mindfulness is the human capacity to pay deliberate, non-judgmental attention to the present moment. It involves gentle and curious observation of  thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations as they arise.

Meditation is the formal practice that develops this skill. Through repeated, structured exercises, we can train the mind to return to the present moment. As we practice meditation over time, we develop and strengthen the skill of mindfulness,  which we can translate to greater control over thoughts and behaviors.
